Merry Christmas!

New nightgown that Grandma LaRue made.
Sydney's new Leapster. The best babysitter ever!
Sydney all dressed up for the ball.

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve with friends and a quiet Christmas Day with just the three of us. Sydney really understood Santa and gifts and everything for the first time this year, so it was incredibly fun and exciting. She decorated our tree and a good part of our house this year with all the great things she made with friends who have been caring for her.
We are blessed!

Baby Adventures

Today is week 29 and 5 days in the pregnancy. After a number of days of high blood pressure and significant protein showing up in Carrie's urine she has been placed on bed rest. We hope this will slow the process of what we believe to be preeclampsia again. She is not allowed out of bed except to eat and go potty.

Trip to the zoo

We went to the OKC zoo the day before thanksgiving because it was FREE!!! We had a great time and all the animals we saw were awake and playing.

These two grizzly bears were the highlight of our visit. Amazing to watch these two animals wrestle together.

Baby Shower

Several ladies from church hosted a beautiful baby shower for me Sunday. So many cute things! Hard to believe we will have another little one soon! We are so blessed!

Here are the lovely hostesses. On top of all the shower gifts I received, these lovely ladies got us a new Sit N Stand stoller and a bassinet. We're ready now!

New Dog

Yes, we did get a dog, and yes we know we are crazy. Her name is Pixie, she is 2 1/2 year-old maltipoo. She has already gotten well adjusted to life in the Feitl home and everyone is having fun.

Our Harvest Ballerina

Sydney got to wear her costume to school today! I'm am surprised the excitement didn't keep her up all night. She even stayed still long enough to get her hair done. Off to the church Harvest Party tonight!

Another Busy Weekend

Is it really possible to sleep like this? How is she always so cute? What was once pink trim with a cream base is now a beautiful cream trim with a tan base. Wow! Scott worked endlessly the last two weekends on painting. He discovered the pink required primer first, so he made several trips around the house. Praise the Lord! He sent a different friend to help on Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

Fall Break

Yes, Oklahoma has this awesome fall break (one last hunting trip before winter). So, Sydney had 3 days off of school. Our camping trip was canceled due to Sydney having a cold, so Scott decided to engage in a little "weekend" house painting project. The garage is re-framed and we will soon no longer have pink trim! Sydney and I focused on sprucing up the inside on the house.

My Birthday!

I had the most wonderful birthday yesterday! Scott and I headed out for a day in Oklahoma City. Our adventures included Incredible Pizza (tons of food and fun games), the Oklahoma State Fair (where we watched a baby chick come out of it's egg and I received a little chain-saw carved wooden chair at a logger show), and Dairy Queen on the way home! I also arrived home to 8 birthday phone messages. I truly was the princess for the day!

Look Who's 4!

Sydney, Scott and I had a little family party the night before Sydney's birthday. She opened all the wonderful gifts from family and we had a blast watching all of her reactions to things. She is really growing up!

Sydney and I made cupcakes to bring to her school on her special day. We were shocked with how well behaved the 17 4 year olds were.

On Saturday we had the real party. The pink Care Bear was the theme. This was my first character cake. A good friend did the decorating this time. Isn't it adorable!

Sydney had 4 friends from church over to the house. We decorated these tote bags, played pin the rainbow on the bear and other fun games. The girls were soooooo cute together!

Here's the big breath to blow out the candles!

Sydney's First Day of Pre-K

Sydney went to public school today. Lawton has a Pre-K school with 250 4 & 5 year-olds. She loved it and so did we.

Camping on the Arkansas Border

In spite of the 2 week stretch of 105+ degree weather here in Oklahoma, we decided to seize the opportunity to take a couple of days away. We found a cute little KOA Kabin with A/C near Fort Smith, Arkansas and headed out for some fun. We had a great time and as always, built a great trip around free tourist activities. We even drove through the town where Carrie Underwood was born!

Our lake pond front view.

We are expecting another Feitl in February! We received doctor confirmation of our pregnancy as we stepped off the airplane in Hawaii. Here is one of the ways we shared the news.

Hawaii

These are way overdue...
Here are a few of the many incredible pictures we took on our Hawaiian vacation. Scott's parents arranged for us all to meet in this tropical paradise for a week long celebration of their 40th anniversary.

Sydney's end of year school program was great. She was so excited about being a monkey in the jungle. She sure has been growing up!

We had a wonderful week long visit from Carrie's parents last week. We enjoyed yet another hike in the refuge, playing Wii, and just being together! We also drove right through the middle of the largest herd of Buffalo we have ever seen.
