Christmas in Oklahoma
Our little angel actually got to be an angel in the Christmas program that "her own school" did this year. She did a terrific job!
She also had a special visit from Santa at school. We were so excited to see that she actually talked to him and even got a little hug.
Christmas day was a wonderful time for the three of us to relax, play, and eat our 4 lb. turkey. Sydney got her own computer this year and is loving it!

Merry Thanxmas
After three long years we were able to get the Feitl Family Clan back together again for two days. We brought Hawaii, Oklahoma and Michigan together for the first time. The drive only took 20 hours (one way, straight through). In that two day period of time we did Christmas, Thanksgiving, Sunday church, Wii tournaments (which was paused briefly to clean up and repair a broken lamp that was struck by a flying remote), and a game of Texas Hold'm. Fun was had by all and we treasure the time we had with the whole family. Hope you enjoy the pictures. Do you think there is any resemblance between Sydney and Aunt Jenni?

2007 World Series Game 3
I had the awesome opportunity to attend the first World Series game to have ever been held in Denver, CO thanks to some wonderfully generous people in our church. The Rockies might not have won, but I got to see their first World Series home game in history, and attended the longest 9 inning World Series game in history. Lots of fun!
Here I am sitting in the Purple row at Coors Field which represents exactly one mile high.Coors Field is still my favorite ball park, can you tell?

Camping Now!
This weekend we tired camping for the first time as a family. We went to Camp Doris in the Wichita Mountain Refuge just 20 min. from our house. It may not be the Redwoods in CA or the Aspens in CA, but it was away from life and in nature.
Sydney was VERY excited to be in the tent the first day. We finally got her out the second day.

Chisholm Trail Crossing
As part of Oklahoma's Centennial celebration, 450 Texas longhorn are being lead through the historic Chisholm Trail. The trail runs from north Texas through southern Kansas. It was passing through near our area last night and we went by to check out the herd and Cowboys. It was a fun experience. Enjoy the pictures.

Sydney's 3rd Birthday
Today we celebrated Sydney's 3rd birthday for the last time. After celebrating in Michigan when we were on vacation, then on her actual birthday, then on Friday at school, and then with her friends today at home. She probably now thinks everyday is her birthday. Her Mom did a great job making it a fun day for all and made one of the best Elmo cakes, from scratch, I've seen. Enjoy the pictures.

Sydney's First Day of School
Today was Sydney's first day at Pre-School at Kids Academy. She was very excited to be able to go to her OWN school and not the one mommy works at. Below you will see her sitting at school with her first homework assignment, a poster board replica of Sydney. There is a more clear picture at the bottom of the good work Mommy and Daddy did, I mean that Sydney did.

Visit to OR
Sydney and Carrie left Scott behind in Oklahoma only 1 week after surgery. We headed out to OR to visit my parents and extended family. Sydney got to attend her first baby shower, wedding, and even visit the ocean (the "big" water) for the first time. We had a terrific trip as you can see from the pictures.

7-10-07 Surgery
Well after nine months of almost constant pain in Scott's right leg and under the advisement of numerous doctors we decided to get Scott the surgery he needed. We had one of the best doctors and hospitals in all of Oklahoma. Scott had a laminectomy and micro-discectomy on the right side of is L4 L5 disk. When they went in the doctor found some bone spurs and fractures so they had to take out more than was expected. The surgery was successful and Scott is on the road to recovery. If you want to see a picture of the scar click here, if you don't have a strong stomach I would not look.

Floods in S.W. Oklahoma
At the end of June we had some major flooding here in Lawton. We received over a foot of rain in less than a month. We had 18 straight days of rain! No one can remember flooding like this ever before. Here are some pictures we took of our river that rose another 5 feet and shut down our highway after we took these pictures.

Sr. Pastor Resigns
As you know we have been here in Lawton, Oklahoma for two years now working at Dayspring Community Church. Our Sr. Pastor resigned May 26 and leaves for a church in Florida in two weeks. I have been named the Interim Pastor in the transition. So we ask for your prayers for both our selves, and the church.
